About Us

Your Engineering Partner

RAXAR is a B2B engineering and technology partner specializing in the development of complex electronic, sensing, and mission-critical systems. We support prime contractors, system integrators, and technology companies by taking responsibility for complete development work packages — from initial concepts and requirements to detailed engineering, prototyping, verification, industrialization, and series production.

Our multidisciplinary capabilities span radar and RF technologies, electronics, digital signal processing, embedded and application software, applied mathematics, and system integration. This breadth allows us to develop components, subsystems, or complete systems under customer requirements and deliver validated, production-ready solutions that integrate seamlessly into larger platforms.

Company Overview

RAXAR combines advanced scientific expertise with a multidisciplinary engineering organization experienced in transforming complex requirements into deployable, production-ready systems. We work primarily as a technology and development partner for prime contractors and system integrators, providing specialized engineering capabilities that can complement or extend their internal teams.

Depending on the programme, RAXAR can undertake a complete development work package or contribute specialized capabilities at component, subsystem, or system level — maintaining responsibility from architecture and detailed design through integration, verification, qualification support, and production.

End-to-End Engineering Capabilities

RAXAR provides end-to-end engineering services for complex multidisciplinary systems, from CONOPS and requirements engineering through system architecture, detailed design, implementation, integration, verification, and validation. Our teams can take ownership of complete development work packages or operate as an extension of the customer’s engineering organization.

The same engineering process supports developments ranging from individual electronic modules and software components to complete subsystems and integrated systems, with a clear path from prototype to industrialization and series production.

Electronics Design

Electronics Design

RAXAR develops custom electronic hardware at module, subsystem, and equipment level. Our capabilities include RF and microwave systems — receivers, transmitters, amplifiers, antennas, and filtering — together with analog and mixed-signal electronics, high-speed data conversion, FPGA/SoC-based digital architectures, embedded computing, and power electronics.

Design activities cover the complete hardware lifecycle, from architecture and component selection through schematic and PCB design, prototype manufacturing, bring-up, testing, qualification support, and preparation for series production.

Digital Design

Digital Design

RAXAR develops high-performance digital architectures for signal processing, communications, radar, sensing, and real-time embedded systems. Capabilities include FPGA and SoC design, custom IP cores, high-speed interfaces, deterministic data paths, hardware acceleration, and advanced DSP algorithms.

Our digital engineering teams work closely with RF, electronics, software, and system engineers, enabling optimized implementations from algorithm development and simulation through hardware deployment and system-level validation.

Software Development

Software Development

RAXAR develops embedded, real-time, backend, and application software for complex technical systems. Our capabilities include embedded Linux, distributed and concurrent systems, sensor control and data acquisition, signal and data processing pipelines, communications protocols, operator interfaces, GIS applications, and system management platforms.

Software development is integrated with the underlying hardware and system architecture and supported by structured configuration management, automated testing, CI/CD, and verification processes suitable for long-lifecycle industrial and mission-critical systems.

Applied Mathematics

Applied Mathematics

Applied mathematics and algorithm development are core elements of RAXAR’s engineering capabilities. Our teams develop advanced signal processing, estimation, detection, classification, tracking, optimization, modelling, and simulation techniques for radar, communications, electronic sensing, and other complex systems.

Capabilities include RF propagation and environment modelling, target and clutter models, system-level simulation, data fusion, machine learning, image processing, and advanced analytics. Algorithms can be developed from first principles, validated in simulation, and subsequently implemented in real-time software, FPGA, GPU, or embedded processing platforms.

System Integration

System Integration

RAXAR can assume responsibility for the complete development lifecycle of a component, subsystem, or system — from initial requirements to a validated and producible solution. This includes system architecture, multidisciplinary engineering, hardware and software development, prototype manufacturing, integration, verification, qualification support, and industrialization.

Our modular development approach enables validated technologies, IP cores, software components, electronic modules, and subsystems to be combined efficiently into customer-specific solutions. Where required, RAXAR can also manage the transition from prototype to low- and medium-rate production and provide series units throughout the product lifecycle.

Industrialization, Production & Validation

RAXAR supports the transition from engineering prototype to repeatable series production. Depending on programme requirements, we can manage sourcing, PCB manufacturing and assembly, mechanical manufacturing, system assembly, configuration control, production testing, acceptance testing, and supply-chain coordination through qualified industrial partners in Europe and Asia.

Final integration, verification, and validation activities are performed under RAXAR engineering control using dedicated laboratory infrastructure, RF instrumentation, precision measurement equipment, prototyping resources, and automated test environments. This allows us to maintain technical ownership of the product throughout the transition from development to production.

Markets and Clients

RAXAR operates primarily as a B2B technology and engineering partner for prime contractors, system integrators, equipment manufacturers, and technology companies. Our typical customer requires specialized engineering capabilities, additional development capacity, or a trusted partner capable of assuming responsibility for a complete subsystem or technology work package.

Our main areas of activity include Defense, Security, Air Traffic Management, Aerospace, Radar and Sensing, Communications, and advanced industrial applications. Depending on the programme, RAXAR may operate transparently behind the prime contractor, deliver customer-branded equipment, or provide RAXAR-developed subsystems for integration into larger solutions.

We support international programmes from our operations in Europe and Latin America, combining local customer engagement with distributed engineering and industrial capabilities.

Business Model

RAXAR’s business model is centered on long-term B2B engineering partnerships and the execution of complete technology development work packages. Engagements typically take one of the following forms:

  • Development Work Packages – End-to-End development of customer-specific components, equipment, subsystems, or systems, from requirements and architecture through prototype, verification, industrialization, and production. Programmes may be executed under fixed-price milestones, deliverable-based contracts, or dedicated engineering teams.
  • Specialized Engineering Support – Specialized engineering capabilities provided to complement a customer’s internal organization, including system engineering, RF and electronics design, FPGA/DSP development, software, modelling and simulation, algorithm development, integration, and verification.
  • Subsystem & Series Supply – Following development and validation, RAXAR can industrialize and supply recurring production units, either as RAXAR products or as customer-specific and customer-branded equipment. Lifecycle engineering, maintenance, upgrades, and obsolescence management can be provided throughout the operational life of the system.

Partnership Model

RAXAR seeks long-term partnerships with prime contractors and system integrators rather than transactional project relationships. Our objective is to become a trusted technology partner capable of repeatedly supplying engineering, subsystems, and production-ready solutions across multiple programmes.

Partnerships can range from the development of a customer-specific subsystem to the creation of reusable technology platforms that can be adapted across different programmes and markets. Intellectual property, branding, manufacturing, and commercial arrangements can be structured according to the needs of each partnership.

RAXAR can engage at different levels of the system architecture, according to the scope required by the customer:

  • Technology Building Blocks – Reusable software libraries, FPGA IP cores, algorithms, hardware designs, reference architectures, simulation models, and other validated technologies that accelerate customer-specific developments while reducing technical risk and development time.
  • Modules & Subsystems – Customer-specific or reusable electronic modules, RF assemblies, embedded computing platforms, processing units, software modules, and complete functional subsystems designed for integration into larger customer systems.
  • Systems – Complete integrated systems combining hardware, software, sensing, communications, processing, and operator interfaces. These may be developed to customer requirements, delivered under the customer’s brand, or adapted from existing RAXAR technology.
  • System of Systems – For complex programmes, RAXAR can also perform system-of-systems engineering and integration, coordinating multiple sensors, processing systems, communications elements, command-and-control functions, and external interfaces within a common operational architecture.
